I’ve just added a new page to my portfolio: a space dedicated to my musical alias R3M3X.
Over the years, I’ve been experimenting with sound in different ways — sometimes through challenges, sometimes through half-formed ideas that stuck around long enough to demand attention, and sometimes with a little help from AI. Until now, these tracks mostly lived scattered across folders on my hard drive. Finally, I’ve gathered them together in one place.
The result is a collection i’m calling mexperiments: 15 tracks that blur the line between music and noise, sketches and songs. The first four were created during the Sample2Song Challenge 2020, where I had to transform a tiny, random sample into a complete track. The others grew from ideas I’ve always wanted to explore, ranging from playful sound-design exercises to more fully realized pieces.
These works aren’t polished “album tracks” in the traditional sense. They’re explorations, side quests, sonic doodles — attempts to find out what happens when curiosity takes the lead. Or as I like to put it: almost music, but not quite.
If you’re curious, you can now listen to all 15 tracks directly on the new music page.
